Under its presense, it nationalized all the lands without any recompense to landowners and carried out progressive land reform that distributes the right of cultivation among farmers. North Korea has Rodong-1, Taepodong-1 and Taepodong-2 as middle, long range ballistic missiles. It is believed that Alaska is within Taepodong-2's fire range. As North Korea is short on food, it makes its soldier farm lands and breed animals for food.
A hereditary dictatorship
After Kim Il Song got hold of North Korea, he passed on that power to his son Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Il is governing North Korea until nowadays. However, Kim Jong Il seems to have serious health problems and there are many presumptions that Kim Jong Il will pass on the power to one of his 3 sons. If Kim Jong Il passes his power to one of his sons, North Korea will be the first country in the 20th century of a hereditary government and it will become a laughter in the international community.
