North Korea's endless threats
Post-Korean War, Numerous North Korean threats
North Korea asserts that all hostile actions were initiated by South Korea.
North Korea's such assertion continued numerously since the Korean War.
Everytime they make hostile military move, they covered up with lies.
Let me introduce few examples of North Korea's hostile action against South Korea.
First, 'Uljin, Samchuk armed guerrillas attack'
This event took place at Uljin, Samchuk South Korea from 1968. Oct. 30. till November 2nd.
120 guerrillas disguised as civilians came across the border 3times in groups of 15.
Those guerrillas gathered South Korean civilians and threated them to join the communist party.
They stabbed those who refused to join and killed those who attempt to runaway from the scene.
Guerrillas also threated civilians not to call police or military. But some of brave civilians risked their life so that South Korean force could successfully terminate those guerrillas.
According to Shin Jo Kim, a captured guerrilla from 1/21 incident, their goal was 1) to bomb President's chamber and assassinate the President.
2) To bomb U.S. embassy and kill U.S diplomats 3) To bomb Army Command and to kill officiers 4) To bomb Seoul prison.
5) To bomb North Korean spy concentration camp and bringing them back to North Korea.

What is 1/21 incident?
In 1968, Jan, 21st, 31 North Korean special force came across the border to assassinate South Korea's President . They successfully entered the nation's capital, fully armed. but their suspicious action was questioned by a patrol unit. They killed the patrol unit and fired against bus and civilians randomly.
South Korean military force immediately issued alert and killed 28 captured 1. From this incident, Cheif police officier from Jong-ro station passed away. Shin-Jo Kim has become a South Korean missionary and has written books on how he found inner peace in Christianity.
Next is the armed submarine infiltration in Gangneung
This occured on the 18th of September, 1996. North Korea's special forces penetrated in South Korea's territory in order to create confusion, under Kim Jong Il's orders. Nevertheless, their submarine got stranded, they abandoned the submarine, came to land and killed 50 civilians.

Finally, the most recent provocation is the second Yeonpyeong sea battle
This occured before the last day of the World Cup in 2002. On the 29th of June, 2002, a North Korean war vessel crossed the boundaries and initiated a preemptive surprise attack towards South Korean ships. This was a clear infringement of the cease-fire and the South demanded an apology and a pledge that promised such provocation will not happen again, which was completely ignored.

There are still lots of examples of provocations which have not been mentioned.
These are the main cases.
You must remember that this kind of provocation has an objective.
It is to take a favorable position when it comes to diplomacy by showing off its military power.
Also, you must not forget that the North Korean government is pouring an unimaginable amount of money on its military, while completely ignoring the North Korean people who are starving to death.
